We believe that we have a two-fold calling as outlined in God’s Word
– Worship God and Love Others to Christ. Though man has attempted to complicate this through the
years, it is a very simple calling to understand and to act upon. Ours is not a calling to be just like
another congregation, but to be the one God has called us to be.
In worshipping God, we strive to worship Him both corporately and privately.
We seek to make our corporate worship a pleasing aroma to God by engaging each and every worshipper with us.
Our goal is to help each person find that intimate moment of worship with our Creator, through song, prayer, scripture
and communion.
Our desire is to please the Lord, not
only with our corporate worship, but also with our personal worship that continues each day. We do this
through our Bible study, small groups and prayer service, as we attempt to bring each believer to a better understanding of
the person and will of God.
By understanding what Christ has called
us to, we recognize that it isn’t enough to simply try to make disciples. We must love others to
Christ. Jesus not only told us to make disciples, He told us to love each other. By
loving others, we become true Christians, modeling the love that Christ has for us. We understand that
we aren’t called to love those that are saved, but to save those that we love.
To help us better understand how to love those around us, we study, pray and fellowship. Our desire is
to love the world so that they can understand that there is only one way that we could love even the unlovable: through the
love of Christ!
Worship God and Love Others to Christ. Simple Christianity.
