What Should I Expect?
Our midweek gathering is a blend of a Sunday morning service and an open discussion Bible study. Each evening we all gather together at 6:300-8:00pm to sing, hear a 5-7 minute devotion, and then each age group breaks off for their own age-appropriate class.
This Wednesday evening gathering is a perfect opportunity to better fellowship with the other members of the congregation, learn and engage with other believers, and to simply encourage your children to gather with other Christian families at a different time in your schedule.
Our midweek gathering is a blend of a Sunday morning service and an open discussion Bible study. Each evening we all gather together at 6:300-8:00pm to sing, hear a 5-7 minute devotion, and then each age group breaks off for their own age-appropriate class.
- Adults are led by one of our elders while he teaches through a topical and discussion orientated class about various subjects each semester. The aim of each session is to be thought-provoking and richly applicable, while allowing for each person to speak or answer questions at their own comfort and desire. We sharpen one another by thinking out loud together (Proverbs 27:17).
- Youth gather and are led by our middle school and high school ministry leaders consisting of one of our elders and some of our other godly women who have a heart for students. We hope to equip students to know Christ, defend their faith, and to be salt and light in their families and schools (Matthew 5:13-16). Each evening includes fun, laughter, and robust Christian truth and teaching.
- Children in 1st-5th grade are taught basic Christian doctrine and overviews of the books of the Bible. The classes consist of useful crafts, fun games, and healthy Bible teaching. Your children will easily fit right in and each class is led by one of our children's ministry volunteers who have passed state-provided background checks. Childcare is available for preschool aged children.
